A college football championship game's highest point total: Georgia makes history against TCU in a rout

In Monday night's College Football Championship game against TCU, the Georgia Bulldogs completely destroyed them.

Many had hoped for a close game because the teams were a mismatch from the start, but it was clear that Georgia was in a higher league.

To become the first team to win back-to-back College Football Playoff championships, the Bulldogs defeated TCU 65-7.

Stetson Bennett destroyed the TCU defence by throwing and running for numerous touchdowns in the first half

TCU struggled to start anything, scoring just seven points in the opening period. With such a lopsided victory, we began to reflect.

Georgia's rout victory ranks right up there in College Football Championship records with Alabama's 52-24 victory
