Having worked as an NFL executive for 21 years with the St. Louis Rams (1997–2000)
Ted Phillips, who spent 40 seasons with the Bears, including the last 23 as Presid
ent and CEO, will be succeeded by Warren. Phillips is retiring.
In the 103-year history of the company, Warren succeeds George S. Halas, George "Mugs" Halas Jr., Michael McCaskey, and Phillip
Warren will fill this position as the franchise's top leader and work to bring the
Bears' fans the next Super Bowl trophy.
Ryan Poles, general manager, said, "Kevin is going to be a wonderful resource and
