J.J. Watt of the Cardinals declares this to be his final NFL campaign.

Along with Aaron Donald and Lawrence Taylor, Watt is one of three players to have won the Defensive Player of the Year award three times.

He won all three of those honours while playing for the Houston Texans (2012, 2014, and 2015), the team that  out of Wisconsin in 2011.

Watt's first child, Koa, was born in October had his own heart rhythm restored in late September.

He's the only player ever to have 20 or more sacks in multiple seasons (2012, 2014).

Since its founding in 2010, when he was still a college studentrecently stated on Twitter that his first objective was to raise $100,000.

With 101 career sacks, Watt leads the Texans in that category, about double the amount of the next-closest player.
